Gardaí in Crumlin are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Walkinstown, Dublin.
At approximately 2.35pm a 44-year-old male was seriously injured when his motorcycle collided with a car on Ballymount Road Lower. He was taken by ambulance to Tallaght Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the car, a 60-year-old female, was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Garda forensic collision investigators are currently examining the scene and diversions are in place. The Coroner has been notified.
