Fatal road traffic collision at Lixnaw, Kerry on the 13/12/14

Gardaí are investigating a fatal road traffic collision, which happened this morning 13th December 2014 shortly before 9.00am. The single vehicle crash happened on the Ballyduff to Tralee road at Ballincosig Cross, Lixnaw, Co Kerry.

The driver of the car, a woman in her 40s, was fatally injured. Two teenaged passengers were removed by ambulance to Tralee General Hospital. Their condition is not known.

The road at the scene of the crash is closed to facilitate an examination of the area by Garda forensic collision investigators.
