Discovery of body in Ratoath Co. Meath on the 10/12/14

On the morning of Wednesday 10th December 2014 at 11.45am Gardaí were alerted to the discovery of a body at a house in Mooretown, Ratoath, Co Meath.

At the scene Gardaí discovered the body of a man his 30's. The body was lying at the gable end of the house and had head injuries. The body was removed from the scene to the morgue in Navan General Hospital and a forensic tecnical examination was carried out in the area. The office of the State Pathogolist was notified.

A post mortem examination was carried out today 11th December and the results of further forensic tests are awaited.

The Garda Technical Bureau are carrying out forensic examination at the house and are expected to remain at the scene until tomorrow afternoon.
