Gardaí are investigating a serious injury road traffic collision which involved two vehicles and occurred at the junction of Hamptonwood Green/Hamptonwood Avenue, Finglas, Dublin 11, this afternoon Saturday 9th August 2014 at approximately 3.30pm.
An infant boy was taken to Temple Street Children's Hospital with serious injuries.
The scene was preserved and the road closed for a time to facilitate Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
