Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following an incident on Old Court Road, Firhouse, Dublin 24 shortly before 7pm on Friday 1st August 2014.
Two men were seen trying to set fire to a black Volkswagen Golf at Old Court Cottages. These men subsequently tried unsuccessfully to stop a number of cars along Old Court Road. They then scaled a wall into Old Court Manor Estate.
This incident may be connected with an attempted shooting at a pub on Old Court Road. Nobody was injured in this incident and the investigation is ongoing.
Gardaí would like anyone who was in the Old Court area of Firhouse, between 6pm and 8pm on Friday 1st August, to contact them at Rathfarnham Garda Station on 01 666 6500.
