Gardaí investigating the fatal shooting of a man in his 40s at Boherboy, Saggart last evening, will hold a press briefing at Tallaght Garda Station at 3.30pm this afternoon, the 20th August 2014.

Gardaí are investigating a fatal shooting incident which occurred shortly after 11pm on Tuesday, the 19th August 2014 in Saggart Co Dublin.
Gardaí received a call reporting a shooting incident at Botherboy shortly after 11pm last evening 19th August 2014. Garda units responding discovered a man in his 40's who had been shot a number of times in the upper body. The man was removed to Tallaght Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly before midnight. A post mortem will be carried out on the body.
The scene at Botherboy, Saggart has been sealed off for a forensic examination which will take place this morning and a Garda investigation is underway.
