Gardaí investigating the robbery of a post office which occurred at Enniskerry, County Wicklow yesterday, 11th April 2014 at approximately 2.45pm, have arrested and charged two males, 21 & 20 years.
Two males entered the premises armed with weapons and threatened staff and customers. They left empty handed. No injuries were reported.
Both males were arrested by Gardaí near the scene a short time after the incident. They were detained at Bray Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 and were charged with offences in connection with this investigation.
They are both due to appear before the District Court, Criminal Courts of Justice, this morning 12th April 2014.
