Gardai in Wexford are investigating a fatal single vehicle road traffic collision that occured on the Newtown Road, Wexford in the early hours of this morning Sunday 6th April, 2014.
Gardai were alerted to the collision at approximately 5.05am when the car collided with a wall. The male driver (30 years) was removed by ambulance to Wexford General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The road has been closed for a Forensic Collision examination and local diversions are in place.
