At approximately 10.30am on Thursday 17th April 2014 two armed and masked men entered the Post Office in Enfield Co Meath , they demanded cash from Post Office employees and left the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. No shots fired and no injuries sustained.
In a follow up operation yesterday (18/4/14) investigating Gardaí arrested a 19 year old man in the Dublin area under the provisions of Section 30 – Offences Against the State Act - 1939.
The 19 year old man is expected to appear before the Courts of Criminal Justice this afternoon (19/4/14) charged in connection with this incident.
Investigations are continuing.
