As part of an ongoing investigation by the Drugs Unit attached to Ballymun Garda Station into the sale and supply of illegal drugs a man was stopped and arrested in the Ballymun area earlier today.(18/4/14)
During the course of this operation a number of vehicles were searched and Cocaine and illegal tablets with a combined estimated street value of €83,000 (subject to analysis) were seized. Three vehicles were also seized during the operation.
A male in his 30's was arrested and is currently detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Ballymun Garda Station.
