Drugs Seizure at Belvedere Avenue, Dublin 1 on the 28/4/14

As part of an intelligence–led operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs, Gardaí from the Crime Resource Unit attached to Mountjoy Garda Station searched a car at Belvedere Avenue, Dublin 1 at approximately 5pm yesterday evening (28/4/14).

During the course of the search 7 kilos of cannabis herb (subject to analysis) was seized with an estimated street value of €140,000. The car was seized as is currently being technically examined.
 

No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing.
