Discovery of a body in Waterford City on the 8/4/14

Gardai in Waterford are investigating all the circumstances following the discovery of a female (early 60's) in Waterford city on the evening of the 8th April 2014.

The body of the female was discovered by the Fire Brigade at approximately 6pm at a house at Killure Grove, St John's Park, Waterford City. The female was pronounced dead at the scene and was taken to Waterford General Hospital where a Post Mortem will take place tomorrow afternoon.
 

The area has been sealed off for a technical examination. We have no further information at this stage.
