Four arrested - Carlow ‘Operation Fiacla’ on the 11/9/13

Gardai have arrested four males as part of ‘Operation Fiacla’ during a search and arrest operation earlier today.

The arrests were made following a number of robberies and burglaries in counties Carlow and Kilkenny in recent months.


The males were arrested during planned searches at a number of locations in counties Laois, Carlow, and Kilkenny this morning (11/9/2013). The four, all aged in their 20s, are currently detained at Thomastown and Carlow Garda Stations under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
