Gardaí at Shannon Town Co Clare are appealing for witnesses following a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision on the Sixmilebridge Rd to Shannon.
The collision occurred at approximately 4.30am this morning (17/9/13) when a car collided with a wall at the above location. A male driver (only occupant) in his 20’s was fatally injured. His body has been removed to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital in Limerick where a Post Mortem will take place later today.
The road is closed pending a Garda technical examination and diversions are in place.
