Gardai in Blarney are investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred between Parkanna Cross Rd and Davis Cross on the Blarney to Bweeng Road at approximately 11.30am today.
A male in his 20’s was fatally injured when his car collided with a lorry. He was the sole occupant of the car and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the lorry was uninjured.
This stretch of road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
