Fatal road traffic collision at Ardfert, Kerry on the 22/9/13

Gardaí are investigating a fatal traffic collision at Ballybroman, Ardfert, Co. Kerry at 8.30pm on Sunday 22nd September 2013. The single car crash happened on the Ardfert to Abbeydorney Road.

A man in his mid-twenties was killed when his car crashed and went on fire; he was the sole occupant of the vehicle.  His body has been removed to Tralee General Hospital where a post mortem examination will be carried out.
 

The road at the scene of the crash is closed and Garda Forensic Collision Investigators will carry out an examination of the area later this morning.
