Five men arrested on the 11th September 2013 as part of ongoing investigations into dissident republican activity are due to appear at Dublin District Court in the Criminal Courts of Justice at 10.30am today, the 13th Sept 2013.
The five males arrested, all aged in their 20's, were being detained at various Garda Stations in the Dublin Metropolitan Region.
A female in her late 20's arrested on the 11th and detained at Ballymun Garda Station has been released without charge.
A second woman in her late 30's was arrested yesterday (12th September) and is detained at Finglas Garda under Section 30 of the Offences Against The State Act 1939

As part of ongoing investigations into dissident republican activity in the Dublin/Wicklow area, members of An Garda Síochána attached to the Special Detective Unit and Crime & Security Section stopped two vehicles and arrested five males under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939-’98 for membership of an unlawful organisation, this morning, 11th September 2013.
The five males arrested, all aged in their 20's, are currently being detained at various Garda Stations in the Dublin Metropolitan Region.
Four vehicles have also been recovered and seized for the purpose of forensic examination.
Follow up searches connected with this investigation were carried out and as a result a number of firearms, assorted ammunition and component parts for explosive devices have been seized and awaiting technical examination.
A female in her late 20's has also been arrested for membership of an unlawful organisation and is currently detained at Ballymun Garda Station under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939-'98.
Investigations are ongoing and further searches continue.
