Two males in their 20’s are scheduled to appear before Athy District Court this morning charged in connection with the murder of Jamie Lindsay in Athy, on 6th April 2013.

Gardaí investigating a fatal shooting in Athy Co Kildare are seeking witnesses to the incident.
The shooting happened shortly before 8.45 pm on Saturday 6th April 2013. A 20 year old man was shot in the head as he walked in the Cloneyboro Estate in the town. The man was taken to Naas general Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
A post mortem examination will be carried out later today by Dr Michael Curtis the Deputy State Pathologist.
Gardai would like to speak to anyone who was in the Cloneyboro Estate area last evening between 8pm and 9 pm. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Athy Garda Station on 059 8634210.
