A male in his 30’s is scheduled to appear before Sligo District Court tomorrow morning at 10.30am charged in connection with the drug seizure at Ballymote on the 9/09/13.
The female was released without charge this evening and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

One man and one woman have been arrested and a quantity of cannabis herb has been seized following a stop and search of a vehicle in Ballymote yesterday evening Monday, the 9th September 2013.
Gardaí stopped a car on the N4, Castlebaldwin, Ballymote, Co. Sligo. When the car was searched Gardaí recovered 4kg of cannabis resin with an estimated street value of €80,000 subject to analysis.
The two occupants of the car, a man in his mid 30s and a woman in her mid 20s, were arrested at the scene. They are currently detained at Ballymote Garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 and can be detained for up to seven days.
