Gardaí at Ronanstown investigating the murder of Dean Johnson on the 24th August 2013 have this afternoon (24/9/13) arrested a 27 year old man in connection with this investigation.
The man was arrested in south inner city and is currently detained at Ronanstown Garda Station under the provisions of Section 30 Offences Against the State Act 1939.

Gardai investigating the murder of Dean Johnston which occurred at Harelawn Green, Ronanstown on the 24th August 2013 wish to renew their appeal for witnesses.
Gardai are interested in appealing to passengers who were on the Number 25 Nitelink Dublin Bus that left Westmoreland Street at midnight on the Friday Night/Saturday morning, 23rd/24th August 2013.
In particular Gardai wish to speak to passengers who continuing their journey on the bus from Liffey Valley to the end of the route. The bus passed the scene of the shooting at approx 12.20am. The bus was travelling on the Neilstown Road at this time.
