Three men have been arrested this morning (15/10/13) in connection with an aggravated burglary which occurred at Fortfield Road, Terenure, Dublin 6W on Thursday, the 10th October 2013.
The three men were arrested in the Dublin city area this morning under the provisions of Section 50 Criminal Justice Act 2007 and are detained in Terenure and Rathfarnham Garda Stations.
Investigations are continuing.

One man is in custody following an aggravated burglary at a house on Fortfield Road, Terenure at 9.30pm on 10th October 2013.
At 9.30pm the home owner, a man in his 60s, was confronted by at least four masked man when he answered a knock at the door. The home owner’s teenaged son was also present. The men are alleged to have assaulted the homeowner and demanded cash. The gang fled when the homeowner’s wife returned to the house and disturbed the men. The man in his 60s was brought to St James' Hospital where he was treated for his injuries which are not life threatening.
Gardaí responding to reports of the incident intercepted a red van near the scene and arrested the driver, a man in his 30s. This man is detained at Terenure Garda station under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007. The scene of the incident is currently being preserved for a forensic technical examination and investigations are continuing.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the Fortfield Road, Lavarna Road, Kimmage Cross Road areas of Dublin 6 between 9pm and 10pm last night or anyone who noticed a red transit type van in the area, to contact Terenure Garda Station on 01 666 6400.
