Gardai at Castlerea are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision on the N5 in Co. Roscommon this morning 10th October 2013.
At approximately 10.00 a.m. a male in his 70s was seriously injured when the car he was driving was involved in a collision with a lorry on the N5 between Strokestown and Tulsk. He was taken by Air Ambulance to Hospital. The driver of the lorry was uninjured.
Forensic collision investigators are at the scene which remains closed. Traffic diversions are in place.
