Seizure of Firearm and arrest of male at Rutland Grove, Crumlin, Dublin 12 on the 16/10/13

Gardaí at Sundrive Road arrested a male, 48 years, following the seizure of a firearm at Rutland Grove, Crumlin, Dublin 12 at approximately 00.50am, 16th October 2013.

The uniformed Gardaí, investigating a criminal damage incident at Rutland Grove observed an altercation between a number of males. One of the males was arrested when observed, by Gardaí, to be in possession of a firearm, which was seized.


The arrested male is currently detained at Sundrive Road Garda Station under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939-'98.
