Media Briefing Swords Assault 11th October 2013

Gardaí will hold a media briefing at Swords Garda station at 11am today 11th October in relation an to alleged assault in Swords on the 10th October.

 
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following an incident in Swords at approximately 12.50 p.m. a male aged in his 40s sustained serious head injuries during an incident involving a second male on Main St., Swords. He was taken by Ambulance to Beaumont Hospital.
 
The second male, who is aged in his 30s, was arrested at the scene and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at Coolock Garda Station.
