Hit & Run in Dublin - man released from custody

A man in his mid 30's arrested by Gardaí in relation to a hit and run incident which occured at Trinity Lane, Dublin 3 on the 17th of October 2013, has been released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The man was arrested on the 18th October 2013 at approx midday and was detained in Mountjoy Garda under Section 4 of Criminal Justice Act 1984.
 
The 34 yr old man who was injured in the incident remains in a serious condition in the Mater Hospital.
