A female in her 20s has died following a two car collision on the R741 between Gorey and Wexford at approximately 10am this morning.
The two car collision occured at Raheenaskeagh, north of the junction for Oulart village. A male, the sole occupant of the second car, has been taken to Wexford Regional Hospital with serious injuries. The female was the sole occupant of her car.
The road is closed to allow Forensic Collision Investigators examine the scene. Diversions are in place, and will be till this evening.
Gardaí at Enniscorthy are investigating the collision and are appealing for witnesses to contact them at 053 924 2580, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
