Gardaí at Dunshaughlin are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the Dunshaughlin to Dunboyne Road (R147) at approximately 00.30hrs this morning (15/10/13).
A 21 year old male driver of a car was fatally injured when the car he was driving collided with a ditch. Five other people were in the car (three males & two females), injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The road is currently closed to facilitate a Garda Forensic Examination and local diversions are in place.
