Gardaí at Longwood, County Meath, are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a female (35yrs) in a house at Edgeworth Court, Longwood, on 14th October 2013 at approx. 5.30pm.
The female was pronounced dead at scene and remains at the scene.
A male (30yrs) who was also in the house was conveyed from the scene to Mullingar General Hospital and his injuries are unknown at this time but not believed to be life threatening.
Scene is currently preserved and a full technical examination is expected to begin in the morning,the State Pathologist is also expected to attend the scene in the morning.
