Gardai are appealing for witnesses following an incident in Swords earlier today (10/10/2013). At approximately 12.50 p.m. a male aged in his 40s sustained serious head injuries during a dispute with a second male on Main St., Swords. He was taken by Ambulance to Beaumont Hospital.
The second male, who is aged in his 30s, was arrested at the scene and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at Coolock Garda Station.
The scene is preserved for a technical and forensic examination.
