Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance following an alleged abduction of a man this afternoon 8th October 2013 at approximately 3.30 pm. at Swiftbrook Glen, Virginia, Co. Cavan.
It is alleged that a silver BMW X5 Jeep, registration number 03 MN collided with a Blue/Grey BMW 3 series car at the entrance to Swiftbrook Glen Estate. The occupants of the jeep bundled the driver of the car into the BMW X5 jeep and drove out of the estate.
The abducted man is believed to be Richard O'Donovan, 31 years, whose most address is Virginia, Co. Cavan.
Gardaí from Baileiboro Garda Station are appealing for witnesses to the incident or anyone who observed or who knows the whereabouts of the silver BMW X5 registered number 03 MN, or indeed anyone who knows the whereabouts of Richard O’Donovan, to contact them at Bailieboro Garda Station on 042 9694570.
