Gardai have arrested a 19 year-old-male as part of an ongoing investigation targeting organised criminal activity in the Coolock area of Dublin.
The male was arrested at a house in Priorswood during a planned search operation this morning, 7th November 2013. The search was led by the Coolock Drugs Unit assisted by other local Garda Units.
During the search Gardai seized a firearm (handgun), an assortment of ammunition and a quantity of cannabis. Various drug paraphernalia was also seized.
The man is currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act, 1939, at Coolock Garda Station.
