Gardai have seized drugs and arrested two as part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of drugs in Cork.
Cocaine and cannabis with an estimated street value of €100,000 (pending analysis) was seized when Gardai attached to the Cork City Divisional Drugs Unit searched a car during an operation this afternoon (6/11/2013) at Main Street, Glenville, Co. Cork.
A male and a female aged in their 30's were arrested at the scene. They are currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996, at Mayfield Garda Station. (They can be detained for up to 7 days).
