As part of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Tallaght area Gardai have seized a large quantity of cannabis resin.
Gardai from Tallaght conducted a planned search of a house in Donomore Avenue at approximately 7.45am this morning. During the course of the search cannabis resin with an estimated street value of up to €111,000 (pending analysis), along with other items of stolen property, were seized.
One male aged 41 years and one female aged 37 years were arrested at the scene and are currently detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Rathfarnham Garda station.
