A man in his 30's arrested yesterday, 6th November 2013, in relation to a drug seizure, is due to appear at Cork District Court this morning at 10.30 am.
A female in her 30.s was released without charge overnight and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Gardaí seized drugs and made two arrests as part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of drugs in Cork. Cocaine and Cannabis with an estimated street value of €100,000 (pending analysis) were seized when Gardai attached to the Cork City Divisional Drugs Unit searched a car during an operation at Main St., Glenville.
A male and a female aged in their 30s were arrested at the scene and detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996, at Mayfield Garda Station.
