Body part discovered in Clonee Co Meath the 1st Nov 2013

Gardai in Ashbourne are investigating the discovery of a human body part in open ground at The Mayne, Clonee, Co Meath.

The body part was discovered by passerby's at approximately 4.30pm today the 1st Nov 2013.The area has been sealed off and is being technically examined. The body part is still at scene and it will be removed later to the morgue in Navan. 
 
We have no further information (sex, length of time etc) at this stage, searches will continue at first light tomorrow morning.
