Gardai in Kilmainham investigating a fatal stabbing incident and serious assault on the 1st December 2012 on St Anthony's Road outside Herberton Apartments in Rialto, Dublin 8 have this morning (29th May 2013) arrested two males (16 and 19 yrs) in the Dublin 8 area.
They were brought to Kilmainham Garda station where they were both charged in connection with the incident. They will appear before the Juvenile Court, Smithfield at 10.30am this morning, the 29th May 2013.

Gardai in Kilmainham are investigating a serious stabbing incident on the 1st Dec 2012 on St Anthony's Rd outside Herberton Apartments in Rialto Dublin 8.
The incident occurred at approx. 5.30am when an altercation between a number of youths resulted in two males(20's) receiving stab injuries. Both males were taken to St James Hospital where one of the males was in a critical condition. He was later pronounced dead. The other male is serious but stable.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination. No arrest have yet being made and investigaions are ongoing.
Gardai in Kilmainham are appealing for witnesses who may seen or heard the incident or who may have any information are asked to contact the Gardai in Kilmainham on 01 6669700,the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.

Gardaí investigating the fatal stabbing in Rialto on the 1st December have released without charge the fourth person arrested in relation to this incident.

Gardaí investigating the fatal stabbing in Rialto on the 1st December 2012 arrested a male teenager yesterday evening (Sunday 2/12/12) in connection with this investigation. He is the fourth person to be arrested. This person is currently detained at Pearse Street Garda Station under Section 30 Offences Against the State Act 1939.
