Operation Slowdown Update

Gardaí, alongside GoSafe are continuing to carry out checkpoints nationwide under Operation Slowdown.

Photographs are available on An Garda Síochána's Flickr account, and updates will continue throughout the Operation.

GoSafe cameras checked a total of 16,226  vehicles nationwide between 7am to 4.15pm today 31st May and detected 100 offences.

A Dublin monitoring location on Pembroke Road  has recorded 28 detections.
 
 We would urge everyone travelling on the roads this Bank Holiday weekend to travel safely.
