The Annual Garda Memorial Day for members of An Garda Síochána killed in the line of duty will take place at the Dubhlinn Gardens, Dublin Castle, on Saturday the 18th May 2013 at 12 Noon.
This years Memorial will include the presentation of a Remembrance Medal, by the Garda Commissioner and the Minister for Justice and Equality, Mr. Alan Shatter T.D to the family of Garda Adrian Donohoe of Dundalk Garda Station.
Journalists attending are asked to email their intention to pressoffice@garda.ie and to be at the Little Ship Street entrance to Dublin Castle at 10.45am on the 18th of May. Due to limited space at the Memorial only those journalists who have confirmed their attendance by email will be allowed access.
