On the 3/05/13 at approximately 5pm, gardai from the Terenure District Drug Unit stopped a car on Leinster Road, Rathmines. When the car was searches a quantity of cannabis herb and L.S.D was found.
Two males in their 20’s were arrested at the scene and detained at Rathmines Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
In a follow up search of a house last night in the Rathfarnham area further quantities of cannabis herb and L.S.D along with cocaine were found. In total, drugs with an estimated street value of up to €60,000 (pending analysis) were seized.
A male in his 20’s is scheduled to appear before Court 44, The Bridewell, at 10.30am this morning charged in relation to this seizure. The second male was released without charge last night.
