All eight men have had their times of detention extended today (30/3/13)
During a follow-up search of the Commercial Premises yesterday (29/3/13) a loaded firearm was recovered,this has now been sent to Garda Headquarters for forensic examination by Garda Ballistic experts.
A further ten searches have been carried out as part of this on-going investigation.

As part of the ongoing investigations into dissident republican activity, Gardaí from the Special Detective Unit, Harcourt Square, assisted by National Garda units, searched a commercial premises in Clondalkin today 29th March, 2013 at mid-day.
Eight men (ranging in ages from their mid 20s to 50 years) were arrested and are being detained under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences Against The State Act, 1939 at various Garda stations in Dublin . No firearms or explosives were recovered during the course of the search.
