Traffic update it is anticipated that one lane in both directions will open within the next 15 mins. Motorists are asked to continue to avoid the area as a large amount of traffic has built up on the M50/M11 in both directions.
Advice:
Northbound traffic is to leave the N11 at the Old Conna exit, turn right to Little Bray, turn left for Wilford Roundabout and return to the northbound M11. All northbound traffic, even that bound for Bray is requested to use the Old Conna exit only and not Kilcroney or Fassaroe.
Southbound traffic is leaving the M11 at Bray North exit, going to Wilford roundabout and turning right to Little Bray and on either Upper Dargle or Main Street/Southern Cross Road returning to N11 southbound. All major junctions are manned by Gardaí and 7 Garda motor-cyclists are being deployed to move slowly through the traffic to provide and assistance that we can to anyone in distress. Motorists are asked to only engage with theses motorcyclists if there is genuine distress and not to discuss travel/diversion options.
