Gardai in Ballymote are investigating a serious single vehicle road traffic collision that occurred at Drimroe, Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo on the 14th March 2013.
The collision occurred at approximately 3.40am on the 14th March on the Tubbercurry to Ballymote Road (R294) approx 1 mile outside Tubbercurry.
The sole occupant of the car, a male in his early 20's was seriously injured in the collision, and was taken to Sligo General Hospital for treatment.
This stretch of road is currently closed pending completion of an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
