Gardaí investigating the fatal shooting at Gormanston, Co. Meath on the 6th March 2013 have released a second man from custody.
The man in his early 40s was released this afternoon 9th March and a file will be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The remaining three men will be charged this evening Saturday 9th March, 2013 at 7.30p.m. at a special sitting of the Special Criminal Court.
Shortly after 2p.m. on 6th March, a man aged in his 30s was shot a number of times. The assailants fled the scene in a car which was intercepted by Gardaí on the Balscadden Road a short time later.
Four men were arrested. A firearm (handgun) was recovered and the car was seized. A fifth man was arrested near to the scene a short time later.
