Gardaí at Mooncoin Co Kilkenny are investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the N25 at Luffany, Slieverue, Mooncoin, Co Kilkenny at approximately 9.15 last night (3/3/13)
A male in his 50’s was fatally injured when the car he was driving (only occupant) was in collision with a lorry at the above location. He was taken to Waterford Regional Hospital but pronounced dead a short time later.
No other persons were injured in this incident.
The road is closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
