Gardai from Kevin Street have arrested two males and seized a large quantity of heroin as part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of drugs in Dublin’s South Inner City.
Gardai seized heroin and arrested two males, aged in their late teens, when they stopped and searched a car on the South Circular Road this afternoon (5/3/2013). A further quantity of heroin was discovered in a house during follow up searches this evening.
Both males are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at Kevin Street Garda station.
In total heroin with an estimated street value of €112,000 (pending analysis) was seized during today’s operation.
