Gardai at Kilkenny are investigating the discovery of the body of a man in his 40s at a house at Fatima Place, Kilkenny. The discovery was made on Thursday evening, the 7th of March at about 7pm.
The body was removed to Waterford Regional Hospital where a post mortem was carried out by Dr Jabbar, Deputy State Pathologist. The cause of death will not disclosed for operational reasons.
Gardaí are appealing to any persons in the area of Fatima Place from Wednesday evening 6th March to Thursday evening 7th March, or any person who can assist with their enquiries to contact the incident room at Kilkenny Garda Station on 056-7775000, the Garda Confidential Line 1-800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
