A male who had been detained at Terenure Garda Station under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act following the recovery of a firearm is scheduled to appear before Court Number 4, the Criminal Courts of Justice at 10.30am tomorrow morning (21.03.13) charged in relation to this incident.

Gardaí in Terenure have arrested a man following an incident that occured at Ballinscorney Road, Tallaght at approximately 11.30 p.m. last night Tuesday 19th March 2013.
A firearm was recovered that was discarded from the vehicle being driven by a male. Soon after the driver stopped his car and the man (mid 30's) was arrested and brought to Terenure Garda Station where he is currently detained under Section 30, Offences Against the State Act.
A investigation into the incident is on-going and anyone with information is asked to contact Terenure Garda station on 01 666 6400.
