Gardai are investigating the circumstances of a serious assault which occurred in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, on the 7th June 2013.
At approximately 23.30 hours a 41-year-old male was stabbed and seriously injured during an incident in an apartment at Clarence St.. He was taken by ambulance to St. Vincent’s Hospital. (The condition of the injured male is believed to be stable.)
A male aged in his 20s was arrested by Gardai at the scene. He is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at Dun Laoghaire Garda .
A technical examination of the scene is underway.
The investigation is ongoing.
