Gardai in Tuam are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Airglooney on the Balgaddy Road at approximately 1.20am on the 23.06.13.
A male in his 20’s was fatally injured when the car he was driving collided with a wall. He was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the sole occupant.
This stretch of road is currently closed pending completion of an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
Gardai wish to appeal for witnesses to this collision and in particular anyone that may have travelled this stretch of road between 1am and 1.30am, to contact Tuam Garda Station on 093-70840, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
