Gardai in Crumlin investigating a two vehicle fatal road traffic collision between a car and a bus that occurred on the Greenhills Rd, Walkinstown at approximately 5pm on 28th July are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
Sixteen year old Stacey Masterson of Kilmartin Green, Tallaght, who was the front seat passenger in the car, was fatally injured. The 19 year old male driver was also taken to Tallaght Hospital and is described as being in a serious condition. The driver and one passenger from the bus were taken to St. James’s Hospital with injuries described as minor.
Gardaí would particularly like to speak to the drivers of two car who were in the area of the crash at the time. The cars which were possibly silver in colour overtook the bus which was at a bus stop on the Greenhills Road shortly before the collision.

A 17 year old girl, who was the front seat passenger in the car, was fatally injured and brought to Tallaght Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The 19 year old male driver was also taken to Tallaght Hospital and is described as being in a serious condition. The driver and one passenger from the bus were taken to St. James’s Hospital with injuries described as minor.
This stretch of road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and diversions are in place.
